Libin Women Empowerment Center was founded in 2022 and established in February 2023, it is a women-led organization that is dedicated to empowering and supporting Somali women in various aspects of life and its challenges. The organization operates with the mission of creating a society where women have access to equal rights and opportunities, resources, and representation. Their vision is to create a society in which women and men have equal rights under the law and can fully enjoy their human rights.

Libin Center has a legal department that focuses on providing legal aid specifically on issues related to gender-based violence. Such as: court representation and legal consultation for women and girls who faced sexual-based violence. The organization’s leadership consists of a team of passionate, driven women who are dedicated to the cause of women’s empowerment. Their goal is to find self-sufficient women who work together to help one another and contribute to their communities and themselves.
